Meet The Community:
Nelly

Most of us develop ways of managing life that make sense at the time, shaped by our relationships, experiences and expectations. Sometimes these patterns continue long after they are useful, leaving us feeling stuck, anxious, overwhelmed or disconnected from ourselves and others.
Therapy offers a space to understand how you have come to be where you are, and to notice the patterns, assumptions and ways of relating that may be shaping your life now. The relationship between us is an important part of this work, offering an opportunity not only to talk about things, but to experience and understand them differently.
I work flexibly, drawing on different therapeutic approaches according to what is useful for you. Sessions take place in a dedicated, private therapy centre in the heart of Wivenhoe.
I offer a free initial phone call so you can get a sense of me, how I work, and whether I might be the right therapist for you.
